Enjoy sleeping in comfort with Wenatex hypoallergenic quilts, alternatively known as a hypoallergenic duvet, while benefiting from the hygienic and hypoallergenic effects of the SilverMed® fibre. Made from 100% cotton sateen with the high-tech hollow fibre wenaLoft® quilted throughout, for perfect climate and moisture management, this quilt has excellent air circulation and is light weight.
Depending on your own temperature preferences and whether you live in a cooler or warmer climate, the quilt is available in Summer and Winter options. Either option makes for a wonderful temperature controlled duvet that will help provide you with a good night’s rest. Both can be washed at up to 60 degrees Celcius for lasting hygiene and comfort and you can be reassured that the filling will stay in place, even after washing.
WINTER QUILT
The Winter Quilt consists of 100% premium cotton-sateen with SilverMed® fibre woven in. It is quilt-stitched and contains spiral-shaped, climate-control hollow fibres. The climate-control hollow fibres are lighter than conventional hollow fibres, produce a higher volume of insulation, deliver perfect heat efficiency and ensure unique air circulation.
Our hypoallergenic quilts combine the advantages of medicinal silver with hollow fibres that have climate control capabilities.
SUMMER QUILT
For summer weather, Wenatex has developed the Summer Quilt – a hygienic quilt that has the same materials, hygiene standards and hypoallergenic properties of the Winter Quilt. The Summer Quilt, however, is half the weight of the Winter Quilt and is perfect for the warmer months in Australia. It is suitable for people who perspire more.
THE WENATEX CLIMATE CONTROL FIBRES
The spiral-shaped, twisted Wenatex climate-control hollow fibres inside the quilt promote air circulation and keep you warm.
PERFECT CLIMATE CONTROL
As a result of the climate-control hollow fibres, moisture is diverted from the body and heat is retained, making for a temperature controlled duvet that is beautifully cosy for you at night.

Wenatex Hypoallergenic Quilts
Wash the Wenatex Quilt at 60 degrees Celsius at least twice a year in a washing machine large enough to allow free movement. The quilt should always be washed alone. Always wash on a gentle cycle using wenaCare or a gentle, natural–fibre washing detergent. Use a commercial washing machine if your machine is not big enough for your quilt, as damage caused by inadequate washing machine size is not covered under the Quality Guarantee.
All beds benefit from daily airing. We recommend that you expose your mattress to the air for as long as possible each day to dissipate any moisture in the hypoallergenic duvet and mattress that has accumulated during sleep.
The Summer Quilt is half the weight of the Winter Quilt and is suitable for the warmer climate and for those who perspire more during the night.
The Winter Quilt is suitable for a cooler climate and for those who need the extra warmth.
We recommend that you use a quilt cover with our hypoallergenic quilts to prolong their longevity.
